Under WATER our last section will be EARLY WORK. (I`ve decided that WORK IN PROGRESS will be a separate heading at the top.)  For now I only have 4 images under early work and the juror`s statement below. We might add a few more after I look at my slides but let`s not wait for that. Next email will have the 4 images and then I`ll attach another section. WATER was the largest.

Layered Water Dance: Dive by Pat Gibson

. My Juror's Choice is Pat Gibson's "Layered Water Dance: Dive". I was

immediately drawn to it and kept coming back to enjoy it

again. I feel she demonstrates a confident use of the

medium. The composition is subtle yet engaging. lt

incorporates an almost monochromatic palette and a

rhythmic tension. Overall I find it to be a successful image

both technically and aesthetically. lt is not too surprising

to me that this work sfands out since Pat has been

producing consistently good work for many years.
